Meet the Koren family

Roots in the soil.
Our heart in the Arava.

Miri and Avi Koren founded Koren Farm in the village of Paran in 1977. In 2017, Barak joined the farm, carrying on the family's connection to farming and life in the Arava.

Here in Paran, the days are hot and the air cools at night. We believe the meeting of warm days and cool nights plays a part in our dates' character. It is the character we love: juicy fruit, rich flavor and balanced sweetness.

It started with dates for family and friends, and grew by word of mouth. Over time, neighborhood freezers took shape: a way to bring our dates closer to you, with a direct connection to the growers and a community built on trust.

Our Medjool dates are soft and juicy, with a rich flavor. We harvest them while they are still moist, then pack and freeze them. Freezing helps preserve their moisture and texture until they reach your home.

How does the neighborhood freezer work?

Dates travel from the farm to community pickup points, where they stay frozen until collection. Contact us to check an active location, stock and prices, and arrange your visit in advance. It is a way to enjoy our dates closer to home.

How do I order, and what is the price?

Dates cost ₪43 per kg, or ₪40 per kg when you buy 4 kg or more. Choose your quantity and area, then contact us by WhatsApp or phone to arrange availability, pickup or delivery and its cost.

Can I order together with neighbors or for an office?

Yes. We can arrange group orders of 64 kg or more for neighbors or an office. Send us your preferred quantity and area, and we will check availability and pickup or delivery options together.
